The Nord Piano 2 HP 73-Key Digital Piano and Synthesizer features a 73-key hammer-action keyboard and supports the Nord Piano and Sample Libraries, all replaceable via the included Nord Sound Manager software. It allows splitting and layering of sounds from both libraries for diverse setups.

The piano section offers Grand, Upright, Electric Piano (two versions), Clavinet, and Harpsichord categories, with 40 or 60 voice polyphony depending on mono or stereo modes. Advanced String Resonance simulates natural string resonance, and the included Nord Triple Pedal supports half-pedaling, release, and catch techniques, along with mechanical pedal noise emulation.

The sample synth section lets you control attack, release, and volume of samples, and create your own via the Nord Sample Editor software. Dedicated knobs and buttons provide quick access to frequently used functions like transposition, split point setting, and layering, ideal for live performances.

Includes SP-1 Sustain pedal.
